Doug Kotelly is an accomplished professional with over 30 years of experience in U.S. property and capital markets. He currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer of Prime Group Holdings, the leading private owner of self storage real estate in the U.S.

In his role, Mr. Kotelly is responsible for overseeing business development, fund-raising, portfolio construction, and investment origination platforms. Under his leadership, Prime Group has experienced significant growth, with successful fund-raising efforts resulting in over $1 billion in equity from institutional commingled funds.

Prior to his current position, Doug Kotelly held key roles at prominent institutions such as UBS, Sun Life Financial, and Bank of America. His expertise in originating direct and joint-venture real estate investments has contributed to a capitalization of well over $2 billion.

Notably, Mr. Kotelly spent a decade leading the investment platform at Overland Capital, specializing in participatory real estate investments for foreign institutional clients. He holds an MBA from Babson College and a BS in Finance and Human Resources Management from Boston College, where he also excelled in Varsity Track & Field.
