Doug Jenkins
Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Doug Jenkins is the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer (EVP CIO) at EBSCO Information Services, a position he has held since February 2016.13 In this role, he is responsible for all technology management at EIS, including software product development teams, information service delivery and resiliency, platform product management, information privacy and security, architecture, enterprise systems, and digital transformation initiatives.12
Jenkins joined EBSCO in 2006 and has led the development of several key products, including EBSCOhost, EBSCO Discovery Service, FOLIO, and DynaMed.1 He has been instrumental in implementing Lean principles and Agile software development methods within the company.1 In 2017, Jenkins spearheaded EIS's transition to the AWS Cloud, starting with the Clinical Decisions business and later expanding to the EBSCOhost platform and FOLIO.1
Prior to joining EBSCO, Jenkins held leadership positions at several technology companies:

Jenkins holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University and an ME in Manufacturing Engineering - CAD/CAM Systems from Boston University.1 He is based in the Boston area and has experience in enterprise software, product management, SaaS, and cloud computing.34
