Doug Galen is a renowned entrepreneur with a proven track record of building innovative and disruptive companies for over twenty-five years. He is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of RippleWorks, a social venture aimed at improving lives across 59 countries by providing practical support to impactful entrepreneurs and their teams. RippleWorks boasts of a portfolio of 110 organizations that have helped 216 million people.
Doug also serves as a lecturer, teaching Startup Garage at Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he shares his extensive knowledge and expertise in entrepreneurship. Besides, he sits on the Boards of Heifer International and Kenzie Academy and advises several early-stage companies.
Before founding RippleWorks, Doug held various high-ranking positions in several companies, including Chief Revenue Officer at shopkick, Senior Vice President of Business and Corporate Development at Shutterfly, and Vice President and GM of New Ventures for eBay. He was also the Vice President of Sales and Business Development for E-LOAN, among others.
Doug holds a Bachelor's and an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from the University of California, Berkeley.
