Doug DeRabbie

Doug DeRabbie has a rich background in communication and government relations. He currently holds the position of Senior Director of Government Relations and Communications at the Ontario Association of Optometrists. DeRabbie studied at Western University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts Honors degree and a Master of Arts degree in Political Science.

DeRabbie has held various positions in different organizations. He was once the Director of Government Relations, Ontario, at the Insurance Bureau of Canada, the Director of Business Planning and Performance Management at Infrastructure Ontario, and the Vice President of Policy and Government Relations at the Council of Ontario Construction Associations. Other organizations where he has worked and held important positions include Retail Council of Canada, Natural Resources Canada, and Sue Barnes, MP.

DeRabbie has an interest in music, sports, coffee, and Superman. He is a writer who enjoys expressing himself through his work. His professional background in government relations and communications has shaped his career and made him an expert in these fields. He uses his skills and expertise to support the Ontario Association of Optometrists in achieving their goals and objectives.
