Doug Buffone

Doug Buffone is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the entertainment industry. Currently serving as the Vice President of Business Development and Franchise Strategy at Skydance, Doug is driven by a passion for video games, film, history, and books. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service, International Politics: Security Studies Major at Georgetown University and completed a Business Studies Certificate with Honors at HBX/Harvard Business School.

Doug's career journey started as a Marketing Intern at Apple Inc. and Editorial Intern at Entertainment Consumers Association (ECA). He went on to become a Professional Video Game Journalist at CBS Interactive and Founder, Head Tutor at University Students Tutoring Service. Doug has an extensive experience working in the entertainment industry and has worked as an Assistant to Senior Motion Picture Talent Agent at Creative Artists Agency, Assistant in TV Lit and Motion Picture Lit at ICM Partners, and Assistant to Lisa Essary at Heidi Levitt Casting.

In his previous positions, Doug served as Virtual Reality Developer Relations/Business Development at Legendary Entertainment, Director of Business Development, Executive Director of Business Development and Franchise Strategy at Skydance, and Managerial and Creative Consultant for Virtual/Augmented Reality Industries at VAR Consultants. He served as the Treasurer of Georgetown Alumni Club of Los Angeles at Georgetown University.
