Doug Anderson

Doug Anderson is the Founder and CEO of DCA Live, a platform that hosts live and virtual events for professionals in various sectors, including legal, nonprofit, technology, and real estate, primarily in the Washington, D.C. area. Since its inception in 2014, DCA Live has attracted over 35,000 business professionals through its events and publishes a daily digital newsletter focused on local business news and insights.12

Before founding DCA Live, Doug served as the President of Bisnow Media, where he played a significant role in expanding the company from startup to generating over $18 million in annual revenue within eight years. Bisnow Media was later sold to the Wicks Group in 2016.12 Doug's extensive career spans over 25 years in media and events, including positions at Bloomberg BNA, Kennedy Information, and AOL. He also produced several PBS programs and documentaries.1

Doug holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy Studies from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business. He is also recognized as a Tech Titan by Washingtonian Magazine for his contributions to the tech community in 2023 and 2024.12 Additionally, he is involved with various organizations such as GEN Z Connect, which aids young professionals in career preparation.1
