Dorrier Coleman

Dorrier Coleman is a co-founder and the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of TEQ Charging, Inc., a company focused on electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions. He has been with the company since its inception in January 2021.

Background and Education

Dorrier holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia, which he obtained in 2016. During his time at the university, he was involved in various engineering projects and competitions, including the UVA Baja SAE team.

Professional Experience

Prior to co-founding TEQ Charging, Dorrier gained valuable experience in the automotive and energy sectors:

Tesla:: He worked as a mechanical design engineer at Tesla from July 2016 to August 2019. During his time there, he contributed to the development of the Model 3 and Model Y vehicles.

Rivian:: Following his tenure at Tesla, Dorrier joined Rivian as a senior mechanical engineer from August 2019 to December 2020. At Rivian, he worked on the R1T electric pickup truck and R1S electric SUV.

TEQ Charging

As the CTO of TEQ Charging, Dorrier leads the technical development of the company's innovative EV charging solutions. The company aims to address challenges in the EV charging infrastructure, particularly focusing on improving the charging experience for electric vehicle owners.
