Dorn Carranza, PhD MBA is a high-achieving Hispanic scientist and innovation strategist with extensive experience in life sciences, biotech, medical technology innovation, commercialization, and business development. Carranza specializes in boosting innovation, industry-university collaborations, science & technology-based entrepreneurship, seed investment, grants, startup incubation/acceleration programs, venture development, and accelerating the U.S. medical technology and devices innovation. As an acclaimed speaker, mentor, and national advocate for diversity, inclusion, and broadening participation in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and the innovation economy, Carranza serves as a member of the national Lab-to-Market (L2M) subcommittee, member of the FDA STEM committee, and chair of the HOLA FDA employee resource group that supports Hispanics at the FDA.
