Dora O. Tovar is a highly experienced public relations professional with over 17 years of expertise in advocacy organizations, government, and corporate America across California, Texas, Washington D.C., and New York.

As the president of Tovar PR, she has successfully developed consumer awareness campaigns for regional and global clients, utilizing her background in policy training, community leadership, and communications to strengthen relationships with corporate entities, consumers, and the media.

With a strong focus on demographics, Ms. Tovar has effectively propelled her clients' initiatives forward with strategic timing, drawing from her role as the director of public relations at a leading US Hispanic advertising and communications agency.

Her tenure as the regional manager of corporate affairs for the Texaco and Shell brands in the US western region equipped her with valuable crisis communication skills, where she oversaw media relations firms and handled spokesperson duties for the refining industry.
