Doorae Shin is an experienced environmental advocate and community organizer who has a strong background in non-profit management. She is a highly skilled professional with expertise in Sustainability, Advocacy, Facilitation, Nonprofit Organizations, Public Speaking, and Leadership.
Doorae Shin is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where she honed her skills and passion for environmental conservation and community engagement.
Throughout her career, Doorae Shin has held various key positions in notable organizations. She served as the Oahu Chapter Coordinator at The Surfrider Foundation, Project Manager at Clarity Project, and Plastic Free Hawaii Program Manager at Kokua Hawaii Foundation.
In addition, Doorae Shin has valuable experience as a Student Sustainability Coordinator and Student Liaison to the Sustainability Council at the University of Hawaii. She also worked as a RISE Marine Debris Fellow at Kupu and Opinions Editor at Ka Leo O Hawai'i.
