Donavan Kealoha
Donavan Kealoha is an accomplished venture capitalist and co-founder based in Hawaii. He has a strong background and education in business, law, and entrepreneurship, having earned his MBA and JD from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Currently, Kealoha is the Managing Director at Startup Capital Ventures, a leading venture capital firm focused on seed and early-stage investments in innovative technology startups, particularly in Hawaii and California. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership roles in multiple organizations, including co-founding the Purple Maiʻa Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides technology education to Hawaii's youth.
Kealoha is also a former Board Observer at Breinify Inc., Director at Startup Capital Ventures, and Member of the Board of Directors at AreaMetrics and Entrepreneurs Foundation of Hawai'i, among other organizations. He has extensive experience in venture capital, startup mentorship, and entrepreneurship, having served as a mentor at The Founder Institute and co-founder of Asio Corp.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Kealoha is also active in various community organizations, such as being the former Board chair at Lanaians for Sensible Growth.
