Director of Football at Atlantic Coast Conference
Donald Moore, Jr. is the Director of Football at the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), a position he has held since 2018. He has been with the ACC since 2007, starting as an administration intern before progressing through various roles, including Assistant Director of Championships and Director of Championships.12
In his current role, Moore is responsible for overseeing football regular season administration and game management, as well as coordinating operations for the ACC Football Championship Game. His background in athletics began with a part-time job as an Assistant Groundskeeper for the Greensboro Grasshoppers minor league baseball team from 2001 to 2013.1
Moore is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina, where he also attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). He earned a bachelor's degree in Recreation and Parks Management with a minor in business in 2007 and was a member of the UNCG men's basketball team from 2003 to 2007.12 He currently resides in Greensboro with his wife, Olivia, and their dog, JoJo DiMaggio Moore.1
