Donal O'Connell

Donal O'Connell is the Managing Director of Chawton Innovation Services, a company that provides consultancy, education, and software solutions in innovation and intellectual property management. With a client base spanning leading Universities, global IP service providers, major IP Firms, global telecoms companies, and more, Donal has been involved in diverse projects like IP auditing, strategy development, process development, agent management, and IP systems deployment.

With a rich background at Nokia spanning 21 years, Donal served as a VP of R&D and a Director of IP. During his tenure at Nokia, he managed Nokia R&D in Texas, overseeing significant growth and successful product launches. As Director of IP, he spearheaded major change projects within the company.
