Don Tonic is a seasoned professional in the solar energy industry, boasting a NABCEP Certified PV Installation Professional credential, with over a decade of experience in the field.

He kickstarted his solar career in 2012 at Coast Career Institute in Los Angeles, CA, undergoing extensive training and hands-on experience through the Grid Alternatives Program.

Don has worked for reputable companies such as Solar City, Sungevity, Verengo, and Fidelity Home Energy of California, where he progressed from an installer to a Senior Project Manager, overseeing various aspects of solar projects.

After relocating to Atlanta, Georgia, he further honed his skills as a Lead Project Manager for Hannah Solar LLC, launching innovative programs like 'Solarize Tybee.'

Subsequently, he held the position of Operations Manager at Creative Solar USA, refining his expertise in staffing, training, design, procurement, and installation of solar systems.

Currently, Don Tonic leads Solar Plus, LLC, his venture aimed at elevating the standards of PV installations across the Southeastern US region and beyond, drawing from his vast experience of designing and installing numerous PV systems.

Apart from his solar energy pursuits, Don has a diverse background, having founded music-related businesses, served as a Reiki Master, and held roles in the music and entertainment industry, showcasing his versatile skill set and leadership abilities.

His commitment to safety, evidenced by his OSHA 30 certification, underscores his holistic approach to project management and team leadership.
