Don Taylor

Don Taylor is an accomplished technology licensing executive with a wealth of experience in the academic sector. He studied Bioengineering, earning both a Ph.D. and an M.S. from the University of Pittsburgh. He continued his education with an MBA from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the same institution. Taylor also holds a B.S. in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University.

Currently serving as the Executive Director of Licensing at The Ohio State University, Taylor has also held several academic positions, including Senior Lecturer at Carnegie Mellon University, Associate Professor of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Pittsburgh, and Co-Director of the Center for Commercial Applications of Healthcare Data. Before joining Ohio State, Taylor founded and served as Executive Director for sciVelo, a program designed to transform research discoveries into commercial products.

Taylor's industry experience is equally impressive. He has held senior leadership positions at healthStratica, bioStratica, and Cellumen, among others. Taylor was also the President and CEO of Net Health Systems, Inc., a company he co-founded.
