He has a PhD in AI and began his career as a scientist at the Department of Defense, where he focused on developing technologies to replicate human intelligence and reasoning, collaborating with organizations such as DARPA in the US and similar entities in the UK and Canada.1

In 2007, Dr. Perugini founded ISD Analytics, a global AI company that was later acquired by Ernst & Young (EY) in 2015. At Presagen, which he co-founded in December 2016, he plays a crucial role in creating a decentralized network aimed at improving healthcare through AI.
