Don Mak

Don Mak is a Cadet Pilot at Cathay Pacific, currently participating in their Cadet Pilot Programme, which runs from April 2023 to March 2024. This program is designed to provide sponsored training for aspiring pilots to obtain their Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and ultimately operate various types of flights, including regional and long-haul services.23

Based in the New Territories of Hong Kong SAR, Don is currently undergoing extensive training, which includes both ground school and flight training components. The Cathay Pacific Cadet Pilot Programme typically involves six months of ground training followed by twelve months of flight training, often conducted in locations like Australia or the United States.14
