Current primary role is to manage and expand team, strategically position the use of custom analytic resources, and represent firm for large industry speaking engagements. Served as key organizer of semi-annual sales team meeting in May for 160 person sales team. Instrumental in launch of new product knowledge database- an internal resource for product and competitive positioning. Primary resource for national accounts team in ETF due diligence efforts.

Designed and lead five person team responsible for the creation and delivery of product related messaging. Served as key member of the Market Delivery Board responsible for resource allocation on all new product launches. Chairperson for iShares Client experience initiative, an effort to profile clients by psychograph and tailor their entire experience with iShares accordingly. Extensive publishing included white papers, marketing documents and a featured article in Institutional Investor’s Guide to ETFs.

Initiated, developed and managed an ETF research team to target institutional investors and financial intermediaries. Developed relationships with index providers, sell side analysts and exchanges. Extensive publishing included monthly industry snapshots, daily fund flow reports, strategy reports, weekly sales ideas, and a featured article in Institutional Investor’s Guide to ETFs. Key contact with the media including quotes in Wall Street Journal, USA Today, thestreet.com, Chicago Tribune, The Wall Street Transcript, and Fortune. Worked directly with active and passive portfolio management teams on joint analytics and reports. Speaking events included World Series of Indexing and Superbowl of Indexing. Created State Street ETF site on Bloomberg. Appointed to product development committee. Provided due diligence support and marketing development for four successful ETF product launches.

Responsible for Morgan Stanley’s research ratings on 120 closed-end funds and 190 ETFs that produced over $110 million in revenue within retail system in 2005. Extensive publishing included over 50 strategy reports, weekly sales ideas, quarterly bond fund and equity fund industry reports, quarterly index-linked ETF industry reports, and marketing presentations. Helped manage over $3 billion in assets within one international equity and two fixed income closed-end and ETF portfolios. Worked directly with Morgan Stanley’s Chief Investment Officer, quantitative strategy team, technical team, and industry analysts on joint analytics and reports. Worked extensively with legal, publishing, institutional sales and trading, research management and equity marketing department to ensure ongoing integrity of all research. Relationship management with key members of major securities exchanges, fund sponsors, portfolio managers, legal council, analysts at other firms, institutional clients and data vendors.  Helped create Morgan Stanley Strategy’s asset allocation models. Introduced risk adjusted return analysis for closed-end funds and developed first ETF ratings system on the street.
