Dmitry Torshin

Dmitry Torshin is a prominent business expert and serial entrepreneur currently serving as the Leading Tracker at the Internet Initiatives Development Fund (IIDF), the largest pre-seed venture capital firm in Europe. He has been with IIDF since September 2014, initially as a Tracker and later promoted to Leading Tracker, where he mentors startups participating in the IIDF Acceleration program. Each startup is assigned a Tracker to help them refine their business models and navigate market challenges.1

Torshin has over 17 years of management experience and more than 11 years in business development, working with over 500 companies across various sectors, including IT, finance, and telecommunications. He holds a PhD and has a track record of raising significant investments from venture capitalists and governmental organizations.1

Before his role at IIDF, Torshin co-founded and served as CEO of Unicloud Business 365, an award-winning SaaS company, which he successfully sold to ModulBank in 2015 after raising around $1 million in investments and acquiring approximately 10,000 business users.1 He is also the co-founder and CEO of Uplift.club, a consulting firm focused on helping IT companies grow through various business strategies.1
