Dmitry Gimon is an accomplished computer scientist and educator with extensive experience in academia and industry. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (former Moscow State Academy of Oil and Gas), as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the same university.

Gimon has worked as an Associate Professor of Information Systems and Business Analytics at Park University, where he served as Program Director for the Master of Science in Information Systems and Business Analytics. He has also served as an Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Business Analytics at the same institution before moving to Fort Hays State University, where he was an Assistant Professor of Informatics.

Apart from his academic credentials, Gimon has also worked in the private sector as an Application Developer at Peak 10 and as an Internet applications developer at LLC Flit-Network Technologies. He also worked at OAO Gazprom Promgaz as an Engineer and as a Freelance Software Developer for his own business.

Gimon has received multiple awards and grants for his research in software engineering, requirements engineering, and business analytics. He has presented his work at numerous international conferences and serves as a reviewer for several academic journals in his field. Gimon's contributions have earned him recognition as a Visiting Researcher at Jožef Stefan Institute and a Post-doctoral Fellow at Concordia University - John Molson School of Business.
