Dickson Doll, a seasoned veteran of the tech industry, is an independent advisor and private investor with over 40 years of experience. Having influenced and guided entrepreneurs, investors, and executives in computer, communications, and internet industries, Doll has an extensive background in venture capital investing and has founded firms with offices in Silicon Valley, Beijing, and Tokyo. A graduate of Kansas State University and the University of Michigan College of Engineering, Doll holds a PhD in electrical and electronics engineering. He has authored two books, taught, and made appearances on Bloomberg Television. Moreover, Doll has served as Chairman of the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA), where he developed a widely-embraced set of recommendations to stimulate liquidity in the US venture capital industry, which led to the passage of the JOBS Act.
