Dirk deGroot has a diverse background in the maritime, commercial diving, and construction industry, providing a unique perspective on project management from conception to completion.

His expertise spans various construction methods, maritime operations, emergency response, and safety procedures, having worked on numerous maritime projects including heavy civil, subsea construction, salvage, dredging, and environmental remediation in the United States.

Throughout his career, Dirk has played a crucial role in setting project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards, collaborating with key stakeholders like owners, design engineers, project managers, supervisors, and crew to optimize field operations, emergency planning, production, and construction methodologies.

He currently serves as a Senior Engineer and Project Manager at Pacific Pile & Marine and previously held a position in Business Development at DiveLocker®.
