Dina Faddah

Dina Faddah is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the field of biology and pharmacology.

She obtained her Ph.D. in Biology from the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) after completing her B.S. with Honors in Biology and Chemistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dina has held significant roles in various renowned organizations, including her current position as a Scientist in Discovery Biology at Neurocrine Biosciences.

Previously, she served as a Vertex Fellow in Pharmacology at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, showcasing her expertise in the pharmaceutical industry.

Furthermore, Dina has contributed to groundbreaking research as a Postdoctoral Fellow at esteemed institutions like the Salk Institute for Biological Studies under the mentorship of Rusty Gage and the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) under the guidance of Zachary Knight-HHMI.

Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to be a Flagship Venturelabs Entrepreneurial Fellow at Flagship Pioneering, where she further honed her skills and knowledge.

During her academic journey, Dina was a Ph.D. Candidate at MIT, working under the supervision of Rudolf Jaenisch, and a Postbaccalaureate Intramural Research Training Award Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, collaborating with Francis Collins.

Even in her early days as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with Todd Vision and Jason Lieb as her principal investigators, Dina exhibited a strong passion for research and learning.
