Dimitrios Skaltsas

Dimitrios Skaltsas is the Co-Founder and CEO of Intelligencia AI, an enterprise software company that uses Machine Learning to assist in bringing life-saving therapies to patients and increase efficiencies in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.12 Founded in 2017 in New York, Intelligencia's platform assesses the probability of drugs gaining market approval and mitigates risks in clinical development.1

Skaltsas holds an MBA from INSEAD and has a background in consulting, having worked as a Domain Lead at New Ventures at McKinsey & Co, where he pioneered Machine Learning-enabled enterprise products in life sciences.1 He is also actively involved in digital transformation and innovation executive education programmes at INSEAD.1

In addition to his role at Intelligencia AI, Skaltsas serves as a Member of the Hellenic Republic National Commission for Bioethics & Technoethics and is an early-stage investor and advisor.3 His company has raised $15.5 million in funding to build the future of drug development.24

Skaltsas is passionate about innovation, exploring solutions at the intersection of sectors and disciplines, and fostering collaborations in the AI and digital space.1 Outside of his professional pursuits, he enjoys painting and has participated in exhibitions at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.1
