Dima Korolev
Dima Korolev is a seasoned architect and engineer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure and distributed systems. With a primary focus on high-performance data applications and event sourcing, Korolev advocates for a consistent, durable, and scalable approach to design. In addition to his technical expertise, Dima has extensive leadership experience and believes in hiring and retaining people with professionalism and shared values to build effective and energized teams. Prior to his work in distributed infrastructure, Dima spent significant time working in machine learning and natural language processing, earning patents in both fields.
Dima is currently an architect at Miro and was formerly a principal maintainer at Current and architect at The Stars Group. He has also held positions as the head of machine learning at FriendlyData, a consultant and principal engineer at RealtyShares, co-founder and CTO at Public Verification, and software engineer at Google and Microsoft. Dima also dedicates time to helping prepare software engineering interviewees and hosts the System Design Meetup on YouTube.
