By the fifth grade, he had already drummed in three bands and played a handful of paid gigs. Throughout middle school, high school, and college Dillon jumped with great enthusiasm at every musical opportunity: a music tour throughout the rhythm-filled country of Cuba, jazz drumming for a full-house crowd at Lincoln Center in New York City, hours in the recording studio, and jamming at grimy backyard college parties.Play by Heart grew out of Dillon's observation of fellow students at Georgetown University; many abandoned their passion for music  while embracing the college academic life.  Dillon, on the other hand, accelerated his pursuit for more and more performance opportunities, which he defines for himself as musical success. Through firsthand experience, he has learned how to balance life as a part-time musician and full-time business student. He would like to help others do the same.
