Dianna Yau

Dianna Yau is a highly experienced product manager with a passion for solving people problems with social impact. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Barnard College and Columbia University, she has also completed a Summer Innovation Program at The University of Tokyo. Yau has worked for several well-known companies, including Facebook, where she helps scale internet connectivity to reach the next billion internet users. She has also worked as a startup advisor to companies such as Next Billion Advisors and Silicon Valley Abroad, offering guidance on scaling enterprise products, and digital ad products to hit Google’s SMB clients. She has also served as a strategic marketing analyst for Rocket Internet SE and as a business analytics & strategy management consultant for IBM. Yau has a passion for educating and inspiring others in the tech and startup world, hosting the Emerging Markets Startups podcast show, where they cover the world's fastest-growing startup ecosystems from Nigeria, Indonesia, and Pakistan.
