Diane Claussen is a distinguished Theatre Managing Director and Arts Leadership Professor and Scholar with an extensive 35-year background in not-for-profit professional theatre and higher education.
Her expertise includes Financial Management, Strategic Planning, Programming and Producing, Community Building and Partnerships, Public Speaking, and Fundraising.
She holds a combined M.B.A./M.A. degree in Arts Administration and Marketing from Southern Methodist University and completed her B.A./B.A. in Theatre and Communications at the University of Washington.
Currently, she serves as the Associate Professor of Theatre Studies and Head of Theatre Management at The Theatre School at DePaul University.

She has also contributed significantly to the arts community as the Executive Director of Court Theatre at the University of Chicago, Managing Director and Assistant Professor at Ithaca College School of Music, Theatre and Dance, and Managing Director at George Street Playhouse.
