Dhia Khalfallah is a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Mannheim.2 He is currently working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Mannheim University.2 Dhia was born in 2000 in Tunis, Tunisia, and joined the Center for Doctoral Studies in Economics (CDSE) at the University of Mannheim through the Master of Economic Research (MAER) track.1
Prior to his doctoral studies, Dhia pursued his education at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business).2 During his time at WU, he was part of a student team that made it to the Hult Prize Regional Finals with their startup project called Tournesol, which aimed to achieve sustainability and development.3
