Dharani Thirumalaisamy

Dharani Thirumalaisamy holds a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control and is currently pursuing a Master's in Computer Systems Engineering with a focus on machine learning, data pre-processing, deep learning, and Natural Language Processing.

Dharani has a strong skill set in C++, Python, R, Docker, Tableau, and the Luigi pipeline. They have worked on various projects including a movie-recommendation system using Apache Spark, object detection using YOLO, predictive analysis, Facebook Database using MongoDB and MySQL, stock prediction, and language translation using LSTM.

Currently interning at NinePoint Medical, Dharani is working on medical image processing using Computer Vision, segmentation with Weakly-supervised methods, and Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs).

Education-wise, Dharani studied Computer Systems Engineering with a specialization in IOT for their MS at Northeastern University, and Instrumentation and Control for their BTech at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. Dharani has a background as a Machine Learning Engineer at IntelliSee and has previously interned at NinePoint Medical, Inc., National University of Singapore, Yokogawa Middle East & Africa B.S.C., and Control and Applications.
