Collectively, this stable of businesses provides an extensive a range of specialist services in credit management. The company has an wide footprint across Southern Africa, with offices in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Botswana and Namibia. 

My responsibility is to assist all the Directors (Consumer, Corporate, Asset Management and the Property Division) of the company. More specifically I assist the Consumer Services Director: 
•	Performs secretarial duties 
•	Assist with personal tasks 
•	Manages queries on his behalf and perform delegated tasks 
•	Ensures necessary documentation to proceed with meetings 
•	Manage diary 
•	Provides support in relation to arranging functions, venue bookings and travel arrangements 
•	Responsible for office infrastructure, e.g. office equipment 
•	Maintains confidentiality of information 
•	Research 

I had to complete and continue to be in charge of was setting up the marketing side of the company. I’ve updated the company website, working alongside designers to give the website a ‘new look’ and keeping it updated. In this industry, especially with the current legislative changes, it has become imperative to keep the website up to date with advice and contact forms to enable consumers can manage their own accounts. I recreated the internal newsletter for the company. As Nimble has grown quite rapidly in the company’s 5 year existence – it has become important to make the employees aware of what parts of the company exist. In this business the biggest employee base is in the Consumer department and therefore the other department (corporate, property and asset management) needs a ‘platform’ to make ensure employees understand the business. Personal Assistant to Director

JVM was established in November 2006 to provide high quality professional and management consultancy advice and services to the public and private sectors.

My main responsibility was to manage the London Office and provide planning, research and support services to the Directors and Consultants. The duties included co-ordinating assignments, including management of both communication and resources and attending meetings with clients when required.  Preparation of reports and presentations for current and potential clients, managing the production of proposals, including co-ordination of communications and assembly; controlling quality of presentation and ensuring timely submission. 

This also included finding new opportunities for the business and developing our 'offer' in Local and Central Government. As this was a changing time in the UK in terms of government this has proved quite challenging as we needed to change our offer to be in line with the new coalition government. 

Other responsibilities included completion of pre-qualification questionnaires and expressions of interest for potential new business opportunities. Overseeing financial reporting together with the company accountant. Liaising with the Company Accountant regarding PAYE, Annual Accounts etc. Manage growth in terms of administration and management.  This included assistance with recruitment of new staff as the business expanded, as well as conducting appraisals and performance reviews. Producing marketing materials and updating the website.

This has been a challenging role from the start as I was recruited by JVM within 5 months of the business start-up and since then we acquired another company which also fell under my responsibilities to manage and assist.

Office Manager

Tribal HR Consultancy provided a range of HR consultancy advice and support.Responsibilities included setting up the business as a separate part of Resourcing, managing the office, researching potential opportunities, assisting consultants with co-ordination of projects, preparing reports and presentations, client liaison and tender processes. Responsibilities for the hard-end HR group of consultants included meeting with clients, participation in workshops relating to Job Evaluation and Pay & Grading, creating new Pay & Grading, Job Evaluation and HR projects marketing material. Assisted the UK Director of Equality and Diversity with creating a new business offering within Tribal Resourcing. This included writing reports on demographics of client areas and producing proposals for diversity related projects. Responsible for organizing and attending meetings with clients, internal employees to discuss Diversity & Equality issues. 
Involved in events held by Tribal Resourcing on the new legislation on Age and Gender (April 2006). Produced a short report for consultants who needed information to advice clients and policies to apply to the workplace to promote the new legislation in the workplace. Attended the Employers Forum on Age briefing on behalf of Tribal. Assisted the Tribal Group Director responsible for the new policies in producing a draft for this legislation. 
Wider role included setting up Tribal Centre (combined centre of HR of Tribal Companies). Responsibilities included assisting consultants with projects across companies, budget planning, monitoring cashflow, liaising with the accounting section of Tribal Consulting and Resourcing respectively managing this new venture. Seeking new opportunities, help in recruiting associates to assist in projects, managing tender processes, creating/updating databases for projects, and client liaison. Assisted in writing and creating the brochure to promote the Centre internally and externally.

Tribal Resourcing - HR Consulting

Austin Mayhead was a consultancy management company.  I worked in the office as office manager. I assisted all the consultants and associates in all tender processes and projects. My duties and responsibilities were similar to the ones mentioned under Tribal Resourcing i.e. preparing reports, managing proposal processes, seeking new opportunities, assisting with recruitment of new consultants/associates, monitoring the cash flow and managing the budget, producing marketing material (especially involved in creating and keeping up to date the website), helping with HR policies, and general office management duties. Austin Mayhead were sold to Tribal Group and later became part of Tribal Consulting Local Government.
