Anand Palanisamy is an accomplished Engineering Leader with over a decade of experience solving complex Infrastructure and Platform problems for the Web scale industry. His impressive skills in Cloud, Framework/App Server development, and Java have enabled him to lead several important projects throughout his career. Anand has a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Madras.

He began his PayPal Cloud journey as a POC in 2012 and successfully built the team from the ground up to deliver the Private Cloud. This cloud currently hosts 100% of Web/Mid prod workloads and stage systems. Prior to joining PayPal, Anand held various positions at eBay, Tellabs, BlueRoads Corporation, Travelport, and Determine in different technical roles.

As Sr. Manager of Cloud Engineering, Anand brings his extensive experience as a developer, technical lead, architect, and manager for various teams. His remarkable track record has demonstrated his leadership skills, technical expertise, and his ability to deliver on projects from concept to execution.
