Dan Burak is a seasoned expert and visionary in marketing and brand strategy. With his wealth of experience in advertising, product manufacturing, retail, and business development, he has successfully grown brands across various industries such as food and beverage, hospitality, professional services, and wellness among others. His journey began at Dartmouth College, where he pursued a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Economics. After college, Dan started his career as an Associate Buyer at Montgomery Ward, where he developed strong foundational buying skills. He later moved to US Robotics as Trade Marketing, Channel Strategy, and eventually to 3Com Corporation as Marketing, Channel Development and Strategy. With his acquired experience, he joined Greenhouse Partners as Senior Associate, Strategy - Brand Strategy, and Communications, where he worked on several brand engagements, developing a holistic understanding of diagnosing brand challenges, translating findings into actionable strategies, and market-facing communications.

Dan worked his way up to Managing Director, Partner - Marketing and Brand Strategy at Sterling-Rice Group, helping the company in new brand launch, optimization, and brand re-stage with his exceptional skills in brand strategy, new product innovation, financial, and P&L management. He currently runs his marketing agency, Cartoon Cactus, LLC, where he continues to transform businesses by helping companies develop strong brands.
