Hans van Geffen

Hans van Geffen is a dedicated revalidatiearts (rehabilitation doctor) with over 15 years of experience, currently practicing at RMC Groot Klimmendaal in Arnhem since 2005.

His primary interest lies in adult neurorehabilitation medicine, focusing on conditions such as Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA), Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Neuro Muscular Disorders, and spasticity.

In 2010, he collaborated with colleagues from his center and Sint Maartenskliniek Nijmegen on a publication regarding the spasticity protocol.

Hans van Geffen completed his education at Heldrings College and obtained his Co-assistent (Medical Intern), Drs, and Geneeskunde (Medicine), Drs degrees from the University of Amsterdam.

His professional journey includes roles such as Revalidatiearts at Rehabilitation Medical Centre Groot Klimmendaal and previously at University Medical Center Groningen.

Additionally, he has experience as Arts assistent in opleiding tot revalidatiearts at University Medical Center Groningen, Arts assistent Revalidatiegeneeskunde at MRC Doorn, Arts assistent Neurologie at Centraal Militair Hospitaal, and as a basisarts at Ministerie van Defensie.

Outside of his medical career, Hans van Geffen enjoys family time with his wife Harriet and their three sons, Stan (born 2002), Joost (born 2003), and Jeroen (born 2007), in their residence in Wageningen. His hobbies include tafeltennis (table tennis), watching movies, and spending quality time with his loved ones.
