I began as launch editor on shopping website start-up tbseen and was recently promoted to Head of Product.- I’m in charge of ensuring the website works properly, has the right content on it and is developing to fit in with the strategy of the brand. - I also head up all marketing - social media (paid and organic), newsletters and B2B communications.- I help create brand campaigns for our sales team to go out and sell and work on creative ideas for any pitches that come in.- I work closely with co-founder Kate Thornton, and the team of tbseen talent, which includes Denise Van Outen, Heidi Range and Tamzin Outhwaite, to ensure we’re creating engaging, shoppable content.

- I oversaw the Lifestyle section on the new <a href="http://BT.com">BT.com</a> portal, which comprises Motoring, Fashion & Beauty and Family & Home.- I managed editors to ensure content on the BT portal was topical and fresh and relationships with the motoring team in Bristol to ensure they fulfilled their contractual obligations.- I commissioned and recruited freelancers to write original content for the site.- I worked with our sales team to create attractive and sellable editorial.

Wrote and collated all content for the family, home and wellbeing section of the new <a href="http://BT.com">BT.com</a> portal. Commissioned writers for opinion pieces. Worked collaboratively with the BT home page editors to ensure topical content was delivered on time. Built topical hub sections such as The Royal Baby and Back To School.

- I was in charge of all the digital properties across Hubert - I ran a small team of four, including two web developers and two content editors, and was responsible for generating suitable content, ensuring the websites were profitable, while helping to maintain the brand voice for each publication- I was in charge of strategy as well as responsible for setting targets for each individual website

- I ran the Wedding website, creating new content, working with bloggers and commissioning freelancers. In just over a year, I increased traffic by just over 200% and upped user engagement, including time spent on site. I also increased our newsletter database- I ensured the site made money, helping our sales team to secure online advertising from big names such as House of Fraser, M&S and John Lewis- I implemented a social media plan, increasing Facebook and Twitter fans, creating a You Tube channel and commissioning videos, implementing a blog and creating a Pinterest account- I wrote a column in each issue Bridal Blog, which was created especially for me, plus I created all offline promotions for the website such as magazine trails, and promotional material for shows

- I supported all 8 shopping centres across the UK, plus I worked on Westfield Stratford’s website, prior to its opening. I helped all the centres produce features and copy for their websites, plus helped them collate and write regular email newsletters. I also produced offline copy, including radio ads and marketing brochures- I launched a comprehensive content strategy, which was taken up across the centres, helping marketers to improve their online copy and open and click-through rates in their newsletters- I introduced a social media strategy and produced social media guidelines for the centres to follow. I was the first person nationally and internationally to create a social media plan. Westfield UK is now seen as the social media pioneer within the Westfield group- I produced original video material for You Tube, which included commissioning external video companies, presenting footage, interviewing celebrities and writing scripts- I introduced fashion editorial to the Westfield London site, launching the fashion blog, Style Notes, and worked with influential fashion bloggers to help spread the word about the brand- The job was extremely collaborative and I worked with various marketing teams across the centres, our PR agency, centre managers, retailers and creative agencies- I also looked after SEO and PPC and appointed a new agency

- I launched a website for LOOK. At the time, it was the first IPC site to launch on time! This involved sourcing an external agency and dealing with the scope of work to be done as well as contract negotiations. I produced wire-frames, sitemaps and worked with staff on the magazine to help transfer their ideas to web- I set up affiliate details with retailers, hired staff to work alongside me on the site, dealt with potential content partners and created a promotional/marketing plan for launch- I organised a content plan for launch and commissioned videos for use on the site, plus created new relationships with retailers and beauty clients, some of which previously had no involvement with the magazine. Clinique advertised on the site two months prior to advertising for the first time in the magazine- I was heavily involved with bringing in commercial revenue. This involved meeting with various potential clients, ‘selling’ the site to them and coming up with suitable commercial propositions- After launch, I oversaw all editorial content, managing a small team of assistants and liaising with various departments on the magazine- Prior to launch, I acted as a consultant to various other IPC sites, in particular <a href="http://www.goodtoknow.co.uk">www.goodtoknow.co.uk</a>, where I was the launch editor

Online Editor, LOOK magazine

- I managed the Entertainment properties – Movies, TV and Entertainment – on Yahoo! UK. I implemented consistent editorial standards and created a Yahoo! Entertainment voice- I commissioned freelancers and designers to create innovative features and games, plus I wrote and produced various features for the site. I also attended movie junkets and conducted interviews on camera. I worked closely with all the major film studios to get exclusive content for Yahoo! Movies- To maximise revenue across these properties, I worked closely with our Sales and Business Development teams, plus ensured that all Entertainment expenditure was kept within budget. I also managed all our external partnerships, ensuring these deals were bringing in a good level of revenue and/or users- I launched the new Movies site, which saw a substantial rise in page views and unique users, plus revenue. I also implemented the Entertainment site in order to bring all the relevant properties together- I worked with other business units to implement their products and content appropriately across the Entertainment sites- I managed various people, including the assistant Entertainment editor

I worked on both the Kids channel and Film & TV channels while working here.Responsiblities were for keeping the channels updated, helping out on sales and marketing deals and growing the user base.

- I co-ordinated the purchase of print and use of design resources within the UK office and managed company branding and worldwide printing of Save the Children stationery. I was also the project manager for all in-house magazines, which meant ensuring everything went to print on time and within budget
