Carolin Kubanke is a seasoned business development leader with extensive experience in venture partnerships and strategic alliances across the Middle East and the United States. She has a valedictorian degree from David-Franck-Gymnasium Sternberg and a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts with honors in American Studies and Social and Cultural Anthropology from Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany.

Before joining Deel as the lead for venture partnerships, Carolin served as the Head of Business Development in the USA for Global Founders Capital, where she developed and executed strategies to identify and onboard top-notch talent, secured investment opportunities and expanded the firm's investment network. Previously, she directed operations for venture-backed medical company Enso, which was recently acquired by Hinge Health.

Carolin began her career creating partnerships for large family offices, venture funds, and private equity firms across the Middle East for The Owners Forum in Berlin, Germany. She has served in various capacities, including project manager and student organizer at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and worked at EF Education First as a regional leader in operations and business development. Carolin has also worked as a sales and service leader at Fossil, and as an au pair at Cultural Care Au Pair.
