Carol Sudbeck

Carol Sudbeck is the Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer at Pacific Life, where she oversees various non-financial corporate functions such as advertising, government affairs, legal, human resources, information security, information technology, and public affairs.

She plays a vital role as the executive sponsor for Pacific Life's enterprise digital transformation endeavors and efficiently manages the coordination of the company's strategic initiatives.

Sudbeck is an essential member of Pacific Life's Management Committee and also holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Pacific Life Foundation.

With a career spanning over more than two decades at Pacific Life, she demonstrated her leadership capabilities by holding various roles within the organization before reaching her current position.

Having initially joined the company in 1994, Sudbeck worked in finance and operations for the annuity product line. Later, she led the audit function and transitioned to Human Resources, where she excelled and eventually rose to the position of Senior Vice President.

Before her tenure at Pacific Life, Carol Sudbeck gained valuable experience as an auditor at Price Waterhouse, with a specialization in the insurance and financial services sector.

She pursued her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, showcasing her dedication to academic excellence and professional development.
