Gary Scott is an accomplished writer, editor and producer, with over 20 years of experience in audio storytelling. As the President of Inside Voices Media, Scott creates original podcasts and offers editorial and production advice to audio content creators. He has worked with numerous clients, including L.A. Theatre Works, Paperclip LTD, Nixon Peabody LLP, and Santa Monica College.
Scott's professional experience includes serving as the Head of Programming and News Director at KCRW, a public radio station in Los Angeles, for eight years. He also worked as the Capitol bureau chief at the Los Angeles Daily Journal, Enterprise/Politics Editor at San Gabriel Valley Newspapers, Managing Producer at KCRW, and Reporter/Editor at the Claremont Courier. Moreover, he served as a Board Member at L.A. Theatre Works.
Scott studied Rhetoric, Philosophy, and Dramatic Art at the esteemed University of California, Berkeley, and earned a B.A. in Rhetoric from the same university. His extensive experience in audio storytelling and journalism makes him a valuable asset to any project he’s involved with.
