Grace Weatherall
Grace Weatherall is a third-year law student with a keen interest in climate litigation and policy. Having attended Phillips Exeter Academy for high school, and the l'Université Paris-Sorbonne (Paris IV) for History and French studies, Grace went on to study environmental policy and English at Williams College. Today, she is studying law at Harvard Law School, where she's developed expertise in environmental law and climate policy.
Grace has worked as a legal consultant at the Environmental Defense Fund, where she is involved in cases of environmental impact, strives to find ways to reduce climate change effects, and comes up with ways that states can reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. Prior to that, she served as a Summer Associate Law Clerk at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, where she worked on cases of regulatory compliance and financial transactions. She also served as a Law Clerk at the US Department of Justice, interned with the U.S. Clean Air Program of the Environmental Defense Fund, and worked as a consultant at Quebec-Labrador Foundation.
In her free time, Grace has served as a tutor in economics and geosciences, a program coordinator at Quebek-Labrador Foundation, and as a supervisor of athletics facility monitors at Williams College. Overall, her experience, education and work demonstrate a deep commitment to helping people tackle some of the world's biggest environmental challenges.
