Louis Nguyen is an American entrepreneur and venture capitalist who has made a significant impact in the investment scene in Vietnam. With a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from San Jose State University, Nguyen has had an illustrious career, holding key positions in top-notch companies in Silicon Valley, prior to his move to Vietnam. He has worked as Division Controller at NEC Computers, Senior Financial Analyst at Apple, Vice President of M&A at Intelligent Capital, and as the founding General Partner at IDG Ventures Vietnam. Additionally, he worked as Managing Director at VinaCapital, leading the DFJ VinaCapital Venture Capital Fund. His experience has given him the expertise needed to create Saigon Asset Management, a capital advisory firm that helps develop sustainable investment in various sectors. Nguyen is also known as "Shark Louis" on "Shark Tank Vietnam," where he invests in private sustainable startups with ESG considerations. He is fluent in English and Vietnamese and holds a US citizenship.
