Dewey Kang is a Technology Transactions associate based in Mayer Brown's New York office, specializing in domestic and multijurisdictional complex commercial transactions involving technology in financial services and information technologies. With a focus on Third-Party Governance, Risk Management, financial regulations, and technology, Dewey has extensive experience in IT agreements such as software licenses, integration, outsourcing, ASP, SaaS, Cloud computing, machine learning, and AI.

Dewey's expertise spans intellectual property litigation and transactions in various technologies and industries including Wi-Fi, LTE 4G, smart meter wireless transmissions, iOS and Android user interface navigation, lithium-ion technology, renewable energy, telecom, networking, data encryption, biotechnology, and blockchain. He has also worked in technology and intellectual property group during a secondment at BNY Mellon in New York.
