Devin Markell

Devin Markell is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in economics, program management, marketing, data analysis, and journalism.

He pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed his high school education at Minnetonka High School.

Throughout his career, Markell has held key roles at major organizations, including Program Manager, Solutions Development Manager, Channel Marketing Manager, and Data Lead at Facebook, as well as Program Manager at Meta.

Prior to his tenure at social media giants, he served as the Vice President of Hedge Fund Research at Blue Orchid Capital, LLC, gaining valuable experience in financial analysis and research.

Additionally, Markell has a legal background, having worked as a Financial Analyst/Paralegal at Eichner & Norris PLLC.

His passion for international affairs led him to internships at the U.S. Department of State in Consular Affairs and at Bloomberg LP as a News Reporter Intern.

Markell also honed his skills in journalism as a Steamboat Summer Scholar at The Steamboat Foundation.
