Devdutt Singh

Devdutt Singh is a senior executive with extensive experience in Metallurgy Engineering, Quality Control, and Material Research Laboratory at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, a Public Sector Maharatna Company since July 2010.

He is highly skilled in both destructive and non-destructive testing techniques, vendor development & assessment, Purchase specification Preparation, Material selection, Material forecast, and Technological methoding of special processes.

Devdutt is a strategic leader known for leading cross-functional, multisite, and multi-business teams, driving change initiatives, and implementing proactive strategies.

Currently, he is involved in Solar Cell Engineering, Designing, Testing, and characterization at BHEL's research and development wing.

He holds a PhD in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and a B.Tech in Metallurgical & Materials Engg. from National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli.

In addition, Devdutt has experience as a Deputy Manager, Scientific Researcher, Senior Engineer, and Author in various organizations and roles.

His expertise spans special processes like Forging, Casting, Babbiting, Metal Coating, Heat Treatment, Hard Facing, Repair Welding, and Stress Relieving.

He has a background in teaching as a school visiting faculty and has authored books as well.
