Desmond Devendran is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, specializing in information security and consulting across various industries.

With a background in Industrial Experience, Desmond has successfully undertaken key projects such as security assessments, security architecture, business and systems analysis, and software design for clients ranging from public utilities to financial institutions.

Desmond has served as a Senior technical lead at a Large Systems Integrator/Technology Consulting Firm/Security Trainer, where he played a critical role in security planning, assessment, and implementation projects for clients.

Some of his notable achievements include developing security policies for aerospace corporations, managing mainframe security for employers, configuring firewalls for public utilities, and designing security architectures for healthcare providers.

In terms of education, Desmond holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Nanyang Technological University, a Masters of Computer Science in the same field from the National University of Singapore, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from the National University of Singapore.
