Derya Sousa

Derya Sousa is the COO of Kianda, an award-winning next-gen no-code application development and process automation platform. She is a multi-award-winning entrepreneur, having been honored as Entrepreneur of the Year 2021 in Ireland's Women in IT Awards, Entrepreneur in Residence 2020/2021 at the NTMA (Ireland's National Treasury Management Agency), and leading Kianda to win the Best Export Business 2021 in Ireland's National Enterprise Awards.

Passionate about fostering inclusivity in technology, supporting startups, and empowering women in business, Derya co-founded Kianda with a vision to simplify and accelerate software delivery through digitalization. Kianda's ISO 27001 ISMS certified platform enables the transformation of paper forms and manual processes into dynamic digital applications, workflows, and dashboards swiftly and efficiently. Citizen developers can leverage Kianda to create tailored digital solutions that enhance business processes in various areas such as HR, quality, IT, finance, and supply chain.

Before establishing Kianda, Derya worked as an IT consultant, collaborating closely with management teams and IT departments to develop customized technical solutions spanning diverse industries. Her expertise lies in UI/UX practices and enterprise collaboration.

Educationally, Derya Sousa pursued Post Graduation in Town Planning at Lisbon Technical University and holds a BS in Town Planning from Yildiz Technical University.
