Derrick has held several key roles in various organizations, showcasing his expertise and leadership skills. He served as the Senior Commercial Officer for British Columbia at the Embassy of Canada, displaying proficiency in international relations and commerce. Prior to this, he excelled as the Agrifood-Seafood Manager at Trade & Invest British Columbia, further demonstrating his versatility and industry knowledge.

His career also includes significant contributions in the field of trade promotion and marketing. Derrick served as a Trade Promotion Officer for Business Development & Marketing at KOTRA - Commercial Section, Consulate General of the Republic of Korea. Moreover, he co-founded and served as a Board Director of Organizational Strategy at Bridge For World, Social Consultants (BFW) Society, highlighting his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to social impact.
