Dermott Jonathan Rowan

Dermott Rowan is an accomplished strategic entrepreneur and finalist in the Ernst & Young competition with a proven track record of establishing a successful multi-million dollar design brand from the ground up.

His expertise lies in license business, business development, supply chain and operational management, evident in the successful launch of an E-Commerce business that turned profitable within six months.

Dermott Rowan has extensive experience as an External Board member, notably serving on the Irish Craft and Design Board.

He pursued his education at Clongowes Wood College and the University of Cape Town.

Dermott Rowan currently holds the position of Executive Chairman at Orla Kiely and has previously served as a Main Board Member of the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland, appointed by the Government Minister at Design & Craft Council of Ireland.

Furthermore, he has background in the role of Area Controller SE England at GKN Kwikform.
