Derek Teslik

Derek Teslik is a highly experienced Federal and state regulatory counsel, specializing in cable, wireline, wireless telephone, and broadcast clients, focusing particularly on the regulatory aspects of new and emerging technologies. His expertise lies in cable television, telecommunications, and over-the-top video regulation.

He pursued his education by studying at St. Albans for High School, obtaining his Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, and completing his BA in Film and English at Washington University in St. Louis.

With a distinguished career path in various renowned organizations, Derek has served as Senior Counsel at Gray Miller Persh LLP, Of Counsel at Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP, Associate at Cooley LLP, Attorney at Dow Lohnes PLLC, and held positions at Federal Communications Commission as a Legal Intern in both the Media Bureau's Video Division and Audio Division. Prior to his legal pursuits, he also worked as a Dub Room Manager at Craig Murray Productions and as a Tour Manager at The Walkmen.
