Derek Spencer

Derek N. Spencer is the Founder and CEO of AiR Everywhere, an augmented reality startup he established in 2017. He has a diverse professional background spanning various industries. Before founding AiR Everywhere, he co-founded and served as CEO of SparQ Innovation in 2010. He later worked as a National Accounts Manager at Shamrock Medical Solutions Group in 2012 and as a Senior Funding Consultant & Analyst at Fundable from 2013 to 2014, where he helped secure $568 million in funding commitments. From 2014 to 2016, he served as Director of Client Relations at Ellsworth Private Wealth Management, managing over $1 billion in assets under management (AUM). Subsequently, he worked as a Private Banker at KeyBank from 2016 to 2017, overseeing wealth for high-net-worth families, with Key Private Bank managing $45 billion in AUM and $52 billion in assets under administration (AUA).1

Derek holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and American Politics from Kent State University (2008–2011) and previously studied Political Science at the University of Cincinnati (2007–2008). He also attended Solon High School (2003–2007). His certifications include Certified Wealth Strategist (Cannon Financial Institute), Health & Life Insurance/Annuities (Ohio Department of Insurance), and Series 66 and Series 7 licenses from FINRA.1
