Prior to these roles, Derek was an Advisor at Juniper Square, Senior Director at Workday Cloud Platform at Workday, and the CEO & Co-founder of Pattern Technologies. He also contributed as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Trinity Ventures and an Advisor at Wonderschool.
Derek's vast experience includes operational roles at Google, where he served as Operations Manager at Google[x], Head of Field Operations, and played a key role as VP of Sales & Client Service at Wildfire Interactive (later acquired by Google).
Before his time at Google, Derek founded Red Shack Ventures, Inc. and held important positions at Fisher Investments, including Associate Vice President Team Leader, Business Analyst, Vice President, and various Account Executive roles.
